Riki Tumohe Clark | Counsellor/Creative Arts Therapist/Psychotherapy Practitioner

Tēna Koe

I am a proud descendant of Waikato, Ngāti Kahungunu, and Ngāti Pikiao. I am a passionate counsellor and creative arts therapist who seeks to support individuals through their personal life journeys. My work is grounded in tikanga Māori and evidence based practices which are trauma-informed and helpful to people of all age groups. I believe that wellbeing is important to everyone regardless of age, gender, culture, and ethnicity, and think that all humans should have access to the appropriate means by which they can be well.

I have worked with people of all ages and have spent the last 13 years working in schools, kura kaupapa Māori, community agencies (NGO’s), kaupapa Māori agencies, and prisons. I have worked with a wide range of issues including sexual abuse, harmful sexual behaviour, anxiety, trauma, attachment, family/whanau related difficulties, family violence, neurodivergence, and more. My training and provision of rongoā and Māori healing modalities also support my work as a therapist.

Client Types: I am open to meeting and working with a wide range of clients including women, children, men, our rainbow and LGBTQIA+, kaumatua/elderly, and more.
