Counselling / Therapy Services
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, as I am guided by your therapeutic goals. Some of the main models I draw from include trauma centred approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT). I also interweave and fuse various elements of Te Ao Māori into my practice where appropriate.
Counselling / Therapy Approach
People seek therapy for a variety of reasons and during different seasons of one’s life. My aim is to provide a safe and healing space to work through life’s difficulties from past, to present experiences or future anticipations. We all need extra support or a neutral space at times to reflect or process life. I take a holistic, compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative approach to working with my clients. I specialize in psychological assessments, brief and long terms psychotherapy.
