Steph Cameron | Social Worker
Steph Cameron | Social Worker
I have spent the last 20 years working as a physical health social worker in a range of rural and community settings. Through this journey, I have worked alongside many people with different needs including aged care, physical and disability, PTSD, family harm, elder abuse.
My role is to enable them to have their voice heard so they can guide their wake through to calmer waters so they can cope better than when they were in the rough seas of whichever trauma has led them to my door.

Social Work Approach:
I am a social worker who is passionate about building partnerships with people to develop a platform where they can develop their self-efficacy, resilience and self-growth. I like to use the ecological model of Bronfenbrenner in my work. This means that natural resources and protective factors are used to help scaffold this relationship to bring about positive change for the clients we are privileged to work with.
